Taking up a new job in a new city you are setting yourself up for a lot of changes - living on your own, managing your finances, exploring opportunities, being adventurous, establishing a routine for yourself. The stages of adjustment and the kind of problems faced by people working away from their homes is put in very simple language and makes it relatable as well. The suggestions for what people can do are very present-oriented and are things that people can act on immediately which will be reassuring for people who are currently experiencing this concern.
